Great question. RHS Formula topicals and sprays have a natural, herbal scent from ingredients like rosemary, boswellia serrata extract, copaiba oil, and tea tree oil. It’s subtle, earthy, and doesn’t linger for long. Most people find it refreshing and mild—not overpowering like menthol or artificial fragrances.

All our products are formulated with safe, effective ingredient levels, but more isn’t always better. You don’t need to overdo it to feel the effects.

That said, there’s no known risk of “overdosing” on BCP or our other natural ingredients when used as directed. If you accidentally use a little extra, it’s okay. Just follow the usage guidelines on the label, and listen to your body.

We get this a lot. And it’s mostly due to one of the ingredients called BCP, aka beta-caryophyllene, present in copaiba oil. But there are a few key differences

• Like CBD, the BCP in our formula interacts with your endocannabinoid system, helping to regulate inflammation, stress, and immune response. But BCP binds directly to CB2 receptors, while CBD works more indirectly. This often results in more targeted and quicker effects, especially when it comes to discomfort and inflammation.
• Our products are completely non-psychoactive. Unlike some CBD products, there’s no THC and no risk of feeling “high.”
• CBD products can be restricted or banned depending on where you live or travel. RHS Formula products are free of CBD and THC, and use FDA GRAS-certified ingredients, making them far easier to travel with. (Always double-check local rules, just to be safe.)
• BCP has GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status from the FDA and is approved for use in food. That’s why our products can be used several times a day. The same can’t be said for CBD products.

No, RHS products are not addictive. Our ingredients are all natural, including beta-caryophyllene (BCP), which doesn’t cause a “high” and doesn’t activate the brain’s reward system. It’s non-psychoactive, non-habit-forming, and safe for regular use.

You can use our products 1–3 times a day, depending on your needs. For acute issues, you can apply or spray as needed throughout the day. For ongoing wellness or chronic symptoms, we recommend using it consistently at the same times each day (like morning and evening) to give your body the best chance to respond.
